Gremio to report Barcelona to FIFA over junior player talks

⚽ Gremio to report Barcelona to FIFA over junior player talks ⚽

Gremio are angry after learning Barcelona are in contact with junior player Manu.

The promising Gremio youngster was given permission to visit La Masia’s facilities from the Brazilian club, but there have been problems as he hasn’t returned to Brazil within the agreed upon timeframe, according to Correio do Povo.

Rosario born Manu was given special privileges his other teammates weren’t granted, and his father was even given a job by the Porto Alegre club, which he has since rescinded.

“Barcelona have done this other times,” Gremio legal director Nestor Hein told GloboEsporte. “Most likely, they’ll send him to a football school for two years and then they’ll sign him.”

“On Thursday or Friday we’ll send our legal complaint to FIFA.”
